Music, music, music.
*sigh* When did music and going out become such an important part of my life?? This coming week (starting tonight actually) there are far too many awesome acts coming to town...it's just not fair! I want to go to the ANZA club tonight to see The Doers, The Highballs and a few other bands... I'll be seeing Spirit of the West with the Proclaimers tomorrow night (OMG! SOOO excited about that one!!) Monday is well, you know...the Pants. I'm really looking forward to this week though, because it's been over a week since I've seen them! lol. It's a tragedy I tell you! ;) Danny Michel will be in town on Tuesday night, and you have no idea how much I want to go see him! Only $10 too!! argh. There's someone I'm *really* hoping can come...but I won't know about that until Monday... Now if I'm to miss one of these shows, it would be Thursday - Shaye (the girl trio that consists of Kim Stockwood, Tara McLean and Damhnait Doyle) play the early show (7pm) at the Media Club. It would be awesome to see them there, since it's such a small venue...but...they do make the bottom of my 'priority' list. annnnnd Saturday: Hawksley Workman plays zee Commodore! I missed him last Fall when he was here, and I heard rave reviews of the show...so I really want to go this time around! ACK. Let me just say one thing: Meghan needs to live in Vancouver dammit!!! If she was here, I would have someone to go with to almost ALL of these shows!!! grrr. Anyway...off to take a nap, I'm exhausted. xo ck p.s. - if you live near me and want to see any of these shows, well, tell me gawd dammit!!! |
