Last night I went to a friend's birthday party - it was fun. Ultra low key too, just what I needed.
I've known this friend since grade 5 (that's...11 years! Yikes!), but we aren't that close anymore. It had been so long since I'd been to her house...it was weird!! There were six of us there, and we ordered in pizza (I of course picked the black olives off of the greek one) and we watched Love Actually! COMPLETELY not the birthday girl's kind of movie (she had rented Aliens) - but her mom had bought the Love dvd, and well, it one ;) hehe. Dairy Queen ice cream cake for dessert (YUM!), and then we hopped in the cars and headed for White Rock. It was pretty cold out, but I was wearing flip flops and a skirt (I mean, duh!). Her friends are hilarious - terribly silly too. hahaha. All in all it was a good night, was home by 12:30am too...nice. Haven't really done all that much today, but I might be going out tonight....although it's looking negative at this point...:( I'm really looking forward to tomorrow night though...Town Pants are playing in MY city....wow! xo ck |
