It's funny how things work sometimes.
It's interesting to see how different friends react to the same news. It doesn't usually surprise me at who and what I listen to though. I just wanted to say thank you to those of you who have been there for me lately. Who have been so happy for me and supportive. Who have gotten all girlie and giggly with me, and have helped reassure me of our friendships. You know who you are, I'm not naming names... Sometimes things happen that bring so much happiness into someone's life and all that they really want is to share the joy with their friends...they don't want to be lectured on anything. They're not stupid, they know what they're doing. They realize that they could get hurt. They know this. In fact, part of them knows that this will happen. And even though they know this, they are so happy right now. They want to enjoy things the way they are. They want the respect of their friends, and more than anything, they want their friends' trust. When they begin to realize that not all of their friends know the real them...it hurts. When their friends don't know them well enough to realize certain morals and values that they have deep down, it makes them sit back and think 'wow. they really have no idea who i really am.' This is just to say thank you and I love you to those who know me. Those who realize my morals and values. Those who care about and love me so much that they want to be in on the happiness too. They want all the details...want to share in the smiles and fluttering hearts...those, those are my friends. I love you. xo ck |
