Usually, I REALLY hate it when plans get changed. It REALLY annoys me and I just completely frustrated by the whole situation. But this weekend, when my plans suddenly changed due to an unforseen incident, everything turned out alright...let me explain.

After being up until almost 4am packing on Saturday, I finally got to sleep. At 6:30am (so now Sunday) my phone rings. Who the fuck is calling me?!?!? I look at my caller ID: it's him (who will now be known as H). Grrr. He tells me that Derek's family dog died overnight, and his mom is a wreck and feels that he needs to be at home for a bit. So, Derek can no longer go camping. Just GREAT. This has no caused H to back out too. Grr!!! He didn't really want to go camping from the beginning, so this is the perfect excuse to back out. Dammit! I decide it's far too early to call Amy and Katie, so I roll over and go back to sleep. Wake up at 9am and realize the girls still think we're going camping. I quickly phone them and tell them the bad news. They're devastated! They then tell me that they think they're still going to go camping and ask if I want to go too....UMMMM....."I'll call you back in 10 minutes..." I say. Call H and wake him up (hehe). He tells me that his dad is gone for the weekend...so I could come over since we're not going camping. HMMM. Option A: go camping with the girls. Option B: go over to his place. Huh. Tough choice. I call Katie and tell her that no, I don't think I'll be going camping - but we'll definitely plan another trip! I called Derek too, he sounded so sad...poor guy...:( So after all the planning and packing...no camping. *sigh*

I hopped in the shower, and blow dried and flat ironed my hair...I was lookin' good. Katya calls and we decide to meet up to run a few errands. We do some banking, drop off film for my sister (who had her grad/prom the night before)...and I even got a little something at Silk & Satin...hehe. It was hot. Don't you agree Katya? ;)

I head home and talk on the phone with Chrissy for over an hour! Wow. We had so much catching up to do!! I then went and put away all the unused camping gear. It was way faster putting it away then getting it out - that's for sure! LOL! And man, I worked up a sweat. Haha, my mom: "you're glowing!". Thannnnks.

Leftover pizza for dinner (I'd ordered it in the night before while packing, haha) and then off to the Superstore for some groceries. Even got some flowers for the garden. Mom's thinking of having a staff BBQ at our house on Friday...gawwwwd. FORMER TEACHERS @ MY HOUSE!!! Soooo not cool! OY.

Anyway, then H calls and says he's done his evening thing and I can come over anytime. Yay! I get mom to drop me at the skytrain and we meet up. He'd gone grocery shopping since I was coming over...awww. We rented a movie, Gothika...but honestly, I only saw the first 5 minutes, haha. The next thing I knew the credits were rolling. He got to see my Silk & Satin purchase and well, quite enjoyed it ;) hehe.

Skipping ahead...I ended up spending the night (and by my bringing my toothbrush does not mean I'd planned this...lol) and he made me pancakes for breakfast. So sweet of him!

So I had a shower at his place, and used his shampoo, soap, etc. His shower gel...was Ralph Lauren Polo Sport. So...I smelled like a boy all day. Katya was quite drawn to me, LMAO. I haven't showered yet today, so when I smell my hair...it smells of him.

He drove me home around 2:30pm (I'd watched my soap opera at his place that ended at 2pm, hahaha...yeah, he QUITE enjoyed that...NOT.) and then I almost right away met up with Katya at her house where she wanted to know allll the details, and well, see certain bits of evidence. *blush*

We went to Nando's for food and then went and had a little picnic in the middle of a baseball field - so fun! Until all the baseball players and their families showed up for practice...haha...then we left.

I got home around 7pm and was exhausted. Even though dinner was ready, I decided I'd just have a little nap first...

Well. I didn't wake up until 4:30am!!!! I got up for a bit, since I couldn't fall back asleep and then at 5:30am came to the conclusion that if I didn't go back to sleep my schedule would be SO screwed. Woke up at 9am and got up.

Made myself a yummy breakfast with leftovers from last night (greek scrambled eggs = eggs + greek salad and balsamic potatoes = balsamic dressing, salt, pepper, oil and potatoes.) and have been writing this since then. Lovely eh?

Well, better go and get on with my day...it's Heather's graduation ceremonies tonight...I'm looking forward to that. I might see some former teachers, and even classmates, since it's been 3 years since I graduated...it could be that there are others from the Class of '01 that have siblings in the Class of '04. lol.
