It rained. Ohhh, did it rain! You'd think being a born-Vancouverite that I'd be used to this...but after such hot weather, the body went into shock. We need it though...already the grass is looking a bit greener and the flowers have bit more life in them.
Friday morning, Kasha picked me at 7:45am and we drove to the ferry terminal. It was SO early...oyvey. It was great fun, the drive out...haha. Except...when a plastic garbage bin flew out of the truck in front of us, and we hit part of it!!! OMG, it was the scariest thing! I wonder how Ferdie's doing...??? (hehe..) Parked at the Park & Ride, and made the 9am ferry...yeehaw! Sat outside (of course!) on the ferry and talked, talked and talked some more. Even though we'd just seen each other the week before, we apparently had much to talk about...lol. We took public transit into town, on a double decker bus...ooOOOoooOOOOooo! hahaha. It wasn't so bad...but it was one long ass ride, holay shite. We were quite relieved to get off the bus downtown. We went and grabbed some lunch at the Sticky Wicket, and then did some shopping...("I'm only spending $20 today..." riiiight! HA!). Kasha then went and met up with her friend Christina, who owns a hair salon, and got her hair coloured and cut. I hit Chapters! Picked up a few gifts...which will be getting mailed out tomorrow...I swear! Kasha's hair looked awesome! She got the top part blonde and a brown underneath...very cool. We went to the Ferris Oyster Bar and grill for dinner...sooo yummy! They make their fries from scratch there, and they use sweet potatoes for some of them....mmm :P Good burgers too! Then I said goodbye to Kasha, who was taking the 8pm ferry home and I went down by the inner harbour to read my book while I waited to hear from H... I waited, waited and waited some more. Ended up at a Starbucks (I got a London Fog), and read some more. Finally, at about 10pm he comes. OMG. I wasn't in a very good mood. He hadn't had dinner...and apparently thought I was going to wait for him to eat, yeah, OKAYYY. We went to a Pho house and he had some soupy/noodle dish thing. Looked good though. Headed back to his place, and I met his roommate Jim (I had yet to meet him every other time I visited...he was quite mysterious, lol) and then, well...the rest isn't for you to know about...;) We slept it on Saturday, and H took off for studying ~11:30am....leaving me with his house key and a day to fill. I watched some tv (I believe it was the movie "EdTV" on TBS...haha), but I fell asleep through part of it...yeah, I was exhausted...When I woke up, I heard noises: obviously one of the roommates was home...so I got dressed and went to have a shower (couldn't risk wearing my black thing to the shower if Jim was home...lol). Did my hair, got dressed, make up...I was already to go out...but when I looked at the time, it was already ~4pm...and I knew H would be thinking about dinner not long after 5pm, so I decided not to go into town, and I just hung out at his place, checked my email, went on msn, read the local newspaper and wrapped the gifts that I need to mail out...heehee...so cute! At about 5pm, Savannah came home. She's the owner/landlord/roommate of H. She's also very nice, and I think we're quite similar, lol. I was on the computer in H's room when she came in (and his room is right by the front door). I had his bedroom door open, so she saw me when came in "you're not H" - no, bright observation there Savannah! She asked if I was into crafts, which of course I am, so she eagerly came over and showed me the stuff she'd bought at Michael's for a birthday card that she would be making for a co-worker. So sweet! She lives in the basement of the house, but said I could come down to talk if I wanted. I would have, but then H called and asked if I was ready for dinner - I was starving. We went to Red Robin, and it was so funny, because at the end of the meal the waiter automatically put the bill in front of H...hehe...we sometimes split or take turns paying, but I just said that he was paying tonight, lmao. I went back to his house...and he went back to school. *sigh* I'll be so glad when this term is finished for him...and once I have schoolwork as well, then at least I'll be able to be more understanding of all the time and effort he's putting into his work. (I'm not that dedicated of a student though...:P) I went back on msn and talked with Katya and Meg for a bit, then there was a knock at the door...it was Lauren, one of Savannah's friends. I let her in, and went back to msn. Yeah, I was a bit bored to say the least...luckily, the girls came upstairs and said they were on their way to a house party and I was more than welcome to join them! Aww! I jumped at the chance and we were off...yayy! The party was very nutty, LOL. They were there for a going away party for a friend...buuut, there was another going away party happening, as well as someone celebrating graduation and like, 3 birthdays! CRAZY!! We didn't stay there too long...just over an hour I guess...it wasn't quite as happening as Savannah had thought it might be. Soooo....we went dancing! Went back to the house so we could change (black flats and jeans were replaced by flip flops and a floral mini skirt for moi), and stopped at Lauren's so she could change too. Got to the club around 10pm... That's when I realized I had H's house key...hehe. I text messaged him to tell him I had it, and that he'd have to come and get it from me. He was being a dork and didn't want to go out to the club, whatever though - I had so much fun! And when you don't go out with a guy, other guys buy you drinks...hehe ;) Anyway, we left it that he'd call when he was nearing the club, and I'd run out with the key...fair enough. So I run out in the pouring rain to bring him the key...lean in the car, make sure it's okay with him that I'm going out with Savannah (I really didn't want him to be upset about this), he played it cool though and said of course it was fine (btw, right answer!), we kissed and I ran back to the club. We danced and drank and flirted until 1am... Then we went out for pizza! We went to a place called The Joint...such yummy pizza...mmmm :P It's right next to a Pita Pit, and those two places are where everyone goes after clubbing to cure those post-partying munchies! Lauren decided she was sober enough to drive, so she took Savannah and I back to the house. When we got in S whispered into H's room "honey, we're hooommme", I of course was quite giggly, but shooed her off....went in and of course he was awake waiting for me to get back...aww. I layed down for a moment and we cuddled/smooched...then I really had to pee (lol) and got ready for bed. We pretty much just slept tonight...his brain was overloaded from schoolwork, and I was getting quite drowsy from lack of sleep from the night before and the drinking/dancing tonight.... It was an early morning on Sunday...he got up at 7:30am and hit the shower. Oyvey. I decided that I should head home sooner than later, so I just packed up and got dressed while he was in the shower. He dropped me off at the PCL bus depot ~9:30am...I caught the 10am bus and the 11am ferry - nice :) (He totally was going to drive me to the ferry, but his car was hit on Thursday night, and the front axel - that bar that holds the 2 wheels together - was bent...so it wasn't very safe to drive. Especially fast down the freeway...). So while my visit in Victoria wasn't spent too much with him...I had an awesome time with Kasha, Savannah and Lauren...:) Sunday night was a birthday party for my two cousins, Robbie (who's now 5) and Eric (who's now 2)...it was fun. I was so tired though...thank goodness Heather had brought Brodie, and they amused the boys for most of the time. Robbie actually called Brodie, "My Brodie" at one point...very cute! I opened at work today (3:30am wake up call!), and then when I got home ~10am, I crashed for 3 hours, and then just lazed around the house in my pj's for 4 or 5 hours after that...yup, nice day. But for now...I must be getting to bed. xo ck
