"Sometimes you're snug as a bug in a rug. and sometimes well you need a little hug. Sometimes this world just passes you by" - Bob Schneider
I should be sleeping. Oh well.

So.

School is done - yayyy.
Christmas shopping is 90% done...yayyy.

Hawksley - so awesome. Wow. Sexy Hawksley...heehee. I went with Kasha, and met up with my co-worker Sarah and her friend Michelle there. So amazing, wow. John Mann (of SOTW) came out and joined Hawksley on a couple of songs, tres fun! Can't wait to see Mr. Workman again...sigh. He really does have an effect on the ladies...humina humina...

The Town Pants - they played the Backstage Lounge (on Granville Island) Friday night. I had never been there before, and it's such a cool little place! Katya and Cathy came. Same with Michelle D., Amy & Katie. Digger was there too. Hehe. He cracks me up that one. I had a good time there - always guaranteed a fun night when you see TTP! I wish I hadn't had to leave early, but I need to work so I can go see them! Haha...Looking forward to the 30th...last year's was, ahem, a fun night...from what I can remember anyway. Wonder if there'll be a blizzard that night again...hmmmm...

Bob Schneider - Katya and I went to see him at the Media Club last night. We got there and couldn't believe that almost all the seats were either put away or occupied! ACK! I was wearing my red stilletos and NEEDED a seat! Sooo...we went and ended up sitting at one of the booths with 3 others. Turns out one of the guys at our table kinda follows this Bob guy around. Huh. That put me in the position that many people are in when I tell them how far I've travelled to see GBS...I totally understood this man's rationale and passion for that. The music was great, he was cute, and there were lots of really drunk, high guys there. LOL. I enjoyed myself - hopefully Katya did too!

After the show, we were walking towards the skytrain and this car honked at us while we were crossing the street. We assumed that they a) wanted us to walk faster so they could turn the corner, or b) thought we were hot. Hahahaha. Turned out it was one of my managers from work! LMAO! TFF.

Today was insane for me. My mom woke me up at 10am. She had a shower and when she got out...I'd fallen back asleep, oops. I got up and we went to Ikea. Did some shopping, had breakfast/lunch. Then we went to the Winners in NVan and bought some Christmas gifts and I bought 2 very sexy bras. Hehe. One is red, and the other is black, red and grey. I love them!!!

Afterwards, we went and visited my Nana...she's not doing well. It's getting harder and harder for me to go and visit her. I just keep remembering how she used to be...it's just not fair. I can't imagine how it must be for my mom and her brother and sister.

Speaking of my mom's sister...we then stopped by her place to drop off some cider, haha. My mom and her friend did the U-Brew thing, and my aunt was getting some of it. Had a little visit with her and the boys - they love those sharks these days! Sharks and weapons. That's what makes them happy - such boys! lol.

We came home and with my sister, we decorated for Christmas. The tree's up. Lights up. House decor is up. It's so cheerful! I had to leave near the end of it though for work...nothing like starting work at almost 9pm. Oy!

Now, it's far too late and I work in less than 12 hours. Sigh. Wrapping gifts and writing cards tomorrow. Yay :P
