2004...A Review...
2004...
The Past Year Meme

1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?

Hmm. So many things...The most exciting was flying to Winnipeg for the weekend in October though...hehe. And of course everything that happened there (mwahahaha). Everything with H was pretty awesome too – and something I hadn’t really done before.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I had made 8 (yes, I know – EIGHT!) with Jenny and Katya. I accomplished 5 of them. And yes, I will make more for next year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

Yup! Diane and Jason had the cutie Sean in the summer!

4. Did anyone close to you die?

No, fortunately.

5. What countries did you visit?

Other than other parts of Canada (which should count since it’s so damn big! LOL!)...I did venture into the USA a couple times...once to see GBS and Carbon Leaf in the Spring and another time this past fall to see CL again! Ironically, both times Michelle D. came too! Hehe.

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?

I don’t think there’s anything that I didn’t have this year that I want...oh wait, more money and an apartment. Haha.

I spent Christmas morning with my mom and sister. We opened gifts and ate cinnamon buns. Then we left for North Van, where we spent the day visiting with my Aunt Cathy, Uncle Michael and the boys – Robbie and Eric. I had a couple of short visits with my Nana too. My other Aunt & Uncle and cousins came for dinner. It was a fun day – but terribly exhausting.

21. Did you fall in love in 2004?

22. How many one-night stands?

One. (yes, this may come as a shock to some of you...hahaha...)

37. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2004:

Live your life for you. If you forget to do this, you won’t be happy and you’ll end up with regrets.

38. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:

Hey man, you don't know what you're missing
You count your curses and forget about the blessings
Don't you think you should learn a little lesson
What are you waiting for?
Hey man, what makes you so special
Can't seem to find the angels for the devils
Don't you think that if you learned to love a little
You'd live a whole lot more
Let it Go Let it Go
This is smaller than you know
No bigger than a pebble lying on a gravel road
Let it Go Let it Go
Got to leave it all behind you
Give the sun a chance to find you
Let it Go
Lift you head, there's no time for crying
You made your bed but don't think its fit to lie in
Wasted on the ground when you know you should be flying
What are you waiting for?
It seems so clear to me
You've just got to live and learn
Smile at the simple stuff
This road ain't long enough
To miss a single turn
